Not once did they decide to cut the budget except in combat troop strength (plenty of rear echelon fat asses remain), COLA still dragging far behind, but the economic war on retirees and senior citizens remains intact.
There was some effort to lay off the barrage of silly ass shut down the government scare talk. Somebody must have been listening and no more budget fights until AFTER inauguration? Don't know if that's good or bad but then with only one party in on the food fight it doesn't really matter.
