We will never be able to travel freely and eliminate imaginary borders until: 1 Everyone is responsible, respectful and conscious, 2 The danger of marxism, communism, fascism, islamism, criminalism and all the other ism's; even kakistocrac governments, and all 'Secret Services' have been eradicated from creation...
It shows severe compartmentalization to completely rely upon electronics where vital information is concerned when no one has even addressed the likely hood of it being stolen or most probably wiped out in a single solar burst of electromagnetism. Not to mention...needing a source of power to retrieve the info...causes global warming, don't ya know! hahahahahahahahahahahah

It's a mixture, as in mixed premises. Some good stuff jammed in with some awful stuff. Poor John, wanted so much to be an intellectual, but whatever rationality he had left kept interfering with that desire. Yoko fed into that desire, but I think she was more mixed up than him. Great arrangement and melody though. Once you start listening to it, it's hard to stop.

    This is going nowhere.

Even the lecherous left isn't going to support this.

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too

At this point I always jump in with:
Imagine all the monkeys, flying out my butt!

With all my years in high security systems, I avoid "cloud" solutions like the plague. My information backup is a hard drive, with no outside connections. In my former life, I kept an "air gap" between any technical information system and any outside communication, with information transfer out handled by flash memory cards, and any transfer in subject to thorough scrubbing by experienced security IT specialists.

My personal profile for the outside world consumption is sparse, so I'm not sure how I'd cope with a system like Australia is considering. Biometric "hacking" is tricky, but I suppose it would be not too difficult to substitute the data on record to match the identity thief. A more dynamic key system may be necessary, like a PIN generated just prior to any travel.

Yes, like the evening song of the shepherd to his unthinking flock, it soothes like a warm, soft blanket of dependency and submission that it is.

    John Lennon was a dreamer.
With everything he's had written, isn't this very philosophical song, his best one?

Brought to you by John Lennon in the song, "Imagine," the global anthem of the delusional left.

    Imagine there's no heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Soon we will emulate that very model of efficiency, a government that for centuries has operated with such great acumen that it is imitated all over the world. It's called .....an ant hill..

They aren't really talking about eliminating passports, but making them electronic.

That said, I visited Australia this summer and their border crossing is very efficient.

On the other hand, they also take photographs of everyone and are building a gigantic database of them, which is kind of creepy.

Maybe I will just inject one of those chips they put in dogs. That way big brother will always know where I am.
