You've read my quotes of the oath of office. The caveat is always. Are you worth the trouble or if the regulations and the oath doesn't change.

Walter Williams presented an article today on Women in the military with 220,000 jobs opening up in the combat arms. No Seals are not exempted.

The first paragraphs dealt with physical differences. (I'm not going discuss that except there is no present plan to add women to the draft but there should be and thee is nothing but a quick and a signature needed. They have no Constitutional exemption. Might even need nothing more than executive order. Equal rights equal responsibilities and they gain first class citizenship no longer relegated to play baby factories to the men's cannon fodder.)

Then it segued into PC and finally these last two paragraphs. You will recognize it as The Careerist Issue. That is an old old story and it is as real as real gets. Here's Walter Williams the rest is in todays http://townhall.com

"Perhaps the most dangerous aspect of military social engineering is the cover-up of failure. Officers who criticize double standards or expose official lies and deception about servicewomen's performance risk their careers. Those official lies and deception will eventually reveal themselves with unnecessary loss of lives on the battlefield.

Finally, the Selective Service System's website (http://www.sss.gov) reads: "While there has been talk recently about women in combat, there has been NO decision to require females to register with Selective Service, or be subject to a future military draft. Selective Service continues to register only men, ages 18 through 25." How can that, coupled with reduced performance standards, possibly be consistent with the Defense Department's stated agenda "to provide a level, gender-neutral playing field"?

If it's that transparent the fifty fifty odds are indeed the best possible ....the real odds are far more dismal.

Fifty fifty they will or they won't uphold their oath of office.

60-40 An Oath change by Executive Order before the next election

70-30 An oath change by Executive Order after the next election

There is no after that.

Fifty Fifty Either they will or they won't

Are you worth it? Would you support that? After all it's not an illegal revolution it's a legal counter revolution.

"Support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic."

Yes, I am worth it, and I am willing to defend individual liberty and free markets to prove it.
That does not mean I will follow orders without question (but you probably knew that, MichaelA.)
I'm not at all certain what percentage of people will step forward though.
