The problem is that the first two parts of Atlas Shrugged are just not that good film-making:( The producer had a noble idea, but it needed a top director and great actors to make this more than one more propaganda film. While there are some good moments in the first two films, I am struck by the fact that much of Rand's really wonderful language is omitted in the films. I recall miles of train tracks instead of some of the speeches that made Rand's book great!:(

Friends, at least *try* and take off the Randroid goggles and see the film for what it is. A very faint shadow of the original!

Aww what about those of us who have to wait for the dvd release? Still, i've done it twice and well worth the waits.
