Especially when it is so stupid. "Our" kind of people perk up whenever they hear this kind of mindless bs and think "Hmmmm, I better look into this ayn rand atlas shrugged person if she is triggering such idiocy..."

And before the Colonel, 'those idiots' elected
a woman-abuser, known as Slick Willy. Will
not be shocked if 'those idiots' elect Slick
Willy's wifey, ya know, Hilarious Hillary.

When their captors bring out the handcuffs, they'll close their eyes and hold out their hands.

Wasn't that great? I've got to buy a copy of that movie so I can see it several more times.

Matter of fact, Ayn Rand repudiated the Libertarian
party.--But I am glad if somebody was wearing an
Ayn Rand T-shirt. Will he stand up for her, or
    throw her under a bus?

I like that, Herb. It may be closer to this generation's version, i.e. the Harry Potter generation. So afraid they dare not even speak the name of the enchanters and therefore remain blissfully ignorant and eventually enslaved,

Consider that they haven't failed if the desired result was control and power. They've failed only if the desired result is life, and that would be the goal of any rational person. Our enemies are not rational. I am being devils advocate here, Zen.

Good grief... The parrots, haters and sciolists really should get a life, or actually educate themselves, because they so often know so little about that which they speak of.

Oh, I think they know. They just don't agree. They have NO interest in individual freedom, or being in charge of their own destiny. They actually fear living in a society or community of freedom where someone besides themselves has ideas different than theirs.

They can't be taught to respect freedom, theirs and particularly others. The thing to remember is that they've always been with us and will remain so. Those of us that respect freedom must continue to ridicule them and their philosophy of togetherness, love for everybody and every life, and their anti-human Gaia worship.

They are indeed dangerous, particularly if given any kind of credibility. It's not so much that our philosophy is so much better (though they are), but that theirs are so ridiculous and inane, and everywhere and every time they've been tried, they've failed and resulted in tremendous numbers of death and poverty.

Enchanted -- that sounds so Disney-ish.
I can picture Tinker-Bell leading them to the voting booth and pointing to the candidates with her tiny wand then sprinkling them with fairy-dust as they fly off to Neverland.

And GOP idiots elected the Colonel Idiot to rule the devastating 8 years before the "Major Idiot." If the GOP idiots don't wake up we will next have a Brigadier Idiot to finish the burial of liberty.

I think shameless steps in a lot earlier than that Herb. Look at any politico. They aren't all stupid, but they all seem to be shameless.

Wanna guess how many virtual and functionally illiterates vote? They think that being on Twitter or Facebook is better than voting, but that doesn't stop many of them.

It's not just petty. It's just downright ignorant, and when speaking from ignorance, it goes downhill to stupid, and from there to shameless.

Ex Machina was truly the best S.F. movie of 2015, Star Wars included. Amazing what can be done when a little thought is put into a production.
