I think it would be interesting to have something on the page header with the following information:
Galt's Gulch was established on (8/24/2012?)
There are currently Xamount of members
Xamount are Producers
Xamount are Moochers
(Along with your currently Online member/lurker information.)

    Yes.
    For non-US members let the month be "August' not "8".

    That's right. Objectivism is well above the normal discussions that are emotionally based. That's why liberals can't speak here. Their comments cannot hold up to logic.

    I agree, Atlas Shrugged isn't the Harry Potter series. Read the whole thing, twice, then go see the movie

    As great as the movie versions are they can't convey the "thoughts" that are in the book, and there are TONS of thoughts. (Philosophy etc etc). So I, for one, strongly suggest reading the book. More than once even. It is jam packed with thought vittles. :)

    I can already tell, this is a really good place to come and have intelligent political conversation. Even if the liberals want to come here in add an intelligent comment, that would be great. Unfortunately, they don't usually say very intelligent things.

    I ordered the book today. I figured it could start reading it, and stop before I get to the part two movie part. Because I want to be surprised when I watch the movie.

    I think on the home page, the ticker on the right seems to manage current members the best. I am sure lots have logged on once or twice, and never came back.
