In this winy, safe place upside down culture, I am surprised this judge still has her job!

“Somebody raping you in the middle of the night, and there’s nothing you can do but just lay there because guess what, everybody got to get their turn."

That's interesting, isn't it? This judge is working within the system to prevent these kids from being put in the system. Good for her. Too many judges will just gladly assign a number and send each kid through the sallyport.

That acting like trash leads to trouble is a fact, not love or tough, just the truth. I understand the phrase and don't mean to quibble. It often means to admit aloud the harsh reality, which I approve of; I just don't call it love or tough.

Regarding the rape comment, it's beyond disgraceful. Everyone who commits heinous crimes or looks the other way has a bogus justification, just as this judge does. It's really sad she brings up gov't atrocities in an argument against crime. Regarless of whether gov't atrocities encourage crime, I suspect they would, it's beyond the pale for a civilized world.

Why doesn't she try to get reforms? It's always the same reasons. What could one person do? She was just following orders. You can't pin down who knew and could have done something. A disgrace.

I too am sick of hearing Love this, Love that, all we need is love...it's another concept that is getting worn out and soon...ignored all together.

Love...outside the family unit is called: Mutuality.
I say, let's not elevate mutuality nor degrade the concept of Love.
We need both and we need them both in the proper perspective.
