    I would call her a feminist, not a progressive. Progressivism didn't exist back then.

    I love John Adams, so careful he was in the crafting of his responses to his progressive wife. "Despotism of the petticoat"

    I like reading it more for getting in the mindset of unlimited possibilities to try something new with no foreknowledge that it would actually work.
