The sand art in this trailer was done by none other than world renowned sand artist Joe Castillo. Joe has a deep love for liberty, Atlas Shrugged, and this country, and we were thrilled to have been able to work with him.

    dang. we are done with the first season but since we are out of the country I can't see season 2 on netflix yet :( I read an interview with the star. He's aussie. he is awesome! is what he is. the boat builder gives me the creeps.

    There are several sacrifice scenes. I don't want to be a spoiler, but there is one a near the end of the season that is reminiscent of the horrific scene in braveheart... I can't think about it.. eww, ech, blech... Good show though, so far.

    I think that Fimmel guy is brilliant. just not how I'd see a viking- all soft spoken with berserker moments. we just finished the episode where the big sacrifice was held. ugh. it's not looking good for mom warrior...

    You are watching too... cool. I was wondering if LS was still keeping up with the series. The guy playing Ragnar... Travis Fimmel, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1379938/ is an odd character. Yes, it is quite brutal. Thankfully it isn't too graphic for me. I hate to watch through the gaps between my fingers. :) The final episode of the season aired last week... I am looking forward to next season, but if I recall correctly it seemed to be quite a ways off. Thankfully there will be ASIII soon!

    I'm currently engrossed in Vikings. Gabriel Byrne is awesome, but that fellow playing Ragnar...anyway, it's kinda brutal

    What is that piece they used for background music? I can't tell you how many snippets of classical music I have in my head, to which I simply don't know the titles. This is one of them. I heard it used as the teaser trailer for "The Voyage of the 'Dawn Treader'".
