Sorry, I think I'll stick to my preferred nomenclature for such individuals - "Scumballs". Only a criminal would prefer to be called such a neutral, non-offinsive word. As if being a scumball was a good and noble thing with which to aspire...

When you gain control of language you have gained control of thought. By manipulating the meanings and use of words control of the thought processes behind those words is achieved. That is the underlying objective of "Politically Correct Speech".

It is a fact that the only predictable outcome from contact with the criminal justice system is further contact with the criminal justice system.

You complain about government over-reach all the time. You are acutely aware of the wrongful nature of drug prohibition, and off of its consequences. Most "criminals" come into the criminal justice system through drugs.

Moreover, most criminals age out of crime. Given that most remediations - probation to prison to parole - fail, why bother? It is better for everyone to find some other solution. Community corrections programs work much better, but are not favored by the "criminal industrial complex" of privateers who profit from selling incarceration.

Look at Red Hook in Brooklyn, New York. It is one of several successful programs. And, no, they do not use politically correct language. In Red Hook, there is no such thing as a victimless crime, because every crime - such as urinating behind a dumpster - harms the community.

To redefine words is to destroy the tool of language. It makes it easier to manipulate people into doing evil while pretending to do good. Why is it the responsibility of anyone besides the individual to direct and control their lives? It maligns those who would work and not contribute to the criminal, or any who make bad choices, by using guilt.

Wait until the Obama administration begins building more public housing in the suburbs for these "Justice Involved Individuals," and they begin committing crimes. Guess that they won't be prosecuted because they are not criminals.

It's the "fed up to here" sentiment about PC speech control that makes people gravitate to a figure like Donald Trump. Hateful epithets are one thing, and social disapproval should be the only weapon necessary to limit their use, but as the PC censorship becomes more ludicrous, with the birth of the term "microaggression," and such unfavored expressions creeping into the realm of indictable acts, there has to be an end to PC nonsense.

I wonder if this statement is referring to the simple fact that the greater majority of people who are criminals regardless what phase you use to describe them are negro! The criminals are poorly educated at best, have no work ethic at all, and of course the government of the usa has been destroying industries wantonly for 60 years so there are no jobs to be applied for in the first place. But the answer is to allocate more money to the problem the do gooders who are employees of the usa government, money that is not theres to begin with. In my youth the negro community started asking for reparations and you know what, they have been getting them for 60 (?) years and there is no end in sight. As is happening the economic activity of not only the usa but the rest of the world is in decline so the prospect of job growth taking place in the usa is not taking place. As for the rest of the world that population is living hand to mouth as they have been for thousands of years. And of course the powers to be that control the usa in their quest for parody are heading the usa in the direct to join them.
