While the authenticity of the book remains unverified, it is interesting to speculate about the possible theological implications that such a record would have if it turned out to be genuine.

Never mind. It’s a fake. Someone with a sharp eye caught that the writing is in Arabic not Aramaic.

Yeah, those are all good points. Carbon dating is certainly very important here.

Yes, and no. It depends on the age of the book. I think the book is fake because it links Jesus followers to the later Muhammed stories. Chronologically that is not possible. It is true that tribal early christians rejected the idea of Jesus being the Son of God because they considered the idea of divinity taking human form as sacrilegious. Jesus being the Son of God was heresy to this branch of early christians. God the spirit just wouldn’t reduce himself to human form. These same christians could possibly be ancestors of those who developed the Islamic religion. That theory compliments they don’t reject Jesus as a teacher, but they draw the line on believing him to being divine.
Could Mohammed followers have written this so -call bible book as fan-fiction or to develop a story line? That would make more sense, and the only way I could believe it is an authentic historical document. It all depends on the carbon dating evidence. If they say it was written at the time of Jesus, I would suspect fraud.

So you think it's likely that the book could be called "ancient fan fiction"? That's an interesting possibility, and probably very likely as well.
