How can anyone deny our President has gone out of his way to help radical Islam? From saying NASA's job is to explain the Muslim role in space advances to the Arab Spring to Benghazi to releasing dangerous al Qaeda leaders-and now this-he is a traitor.
We have lost a key philosophical and PR war. The encroachment on Baghdad unravels anything we have done in the war on terrorism and 6717 soldiers and countless wounded soldiers with severe brain injuries and limb loss among other injuries. Everyday a new scandal shows up to show in real, concrete examples his agenda against the country. and we just watch...

    Hello khalling,
Isn't it disgraceful? I heard it reported that aside from the human cost we spent over 2.2 trillion dollars on that war... apparently to this administration it is somebody else's family members and somebody else's money. The same end is likely in Afghanistan.
    Regards,
    O.A.

This seems like the sunk cost fallacy.

        Hello Circuit Guy,
True enough, it was a theater that may not have needed to be entered into in the first place. However, one could not predict what the investment potential might have returned with a stable Iraq if a residual force agreement had been established. Now it may become a stronghold of radicals from which to stage attacks on Americans and our interests. The peace dividend alone may have been worth the investment. We will never know; but, we have the history of Korea, Japan, and Germany to compare to what has happened there (although I would argue it is past time to remove much of our contingent in at least Japan and Germany). One cannot rewrite history, but one can learn from it.
        Respectfully,
        O.A.

The radicals' job of taking back Bagdad/ the country of Iraq has been made much easier with all the toys we left behind. Perhaps we should start there with our retrospect: ‘in the future’...

And so we lose everything we gained at the expense of American blood and treasure.

This is what brings out my vicious side, when I think about those young boys messed up for life, healthy young lives destroyed, all because of political correctness. And traitors in our midst.

Tell me now how wrong my policy for conducting the war on terror would have been. Then tell the families of our dead and wounded.
