Turned out to be false...It's a sun cycle..
We experienced the Maunder minimum right here in New England.

We know the migration patterns, it's been observed, we know which areas that were effected last time and we are beginning to see it again, we know there will be an uptick in volcanic eruptions and earthquakes, and we see signs of these things.
Desert areas are getting more rain and traditional growing areas are getting dryer and some are seeing snow at odd times...we see these things in historical records.

So it is logical to observe and plan. We've time mapped the cycles and verified them in historical references...It's not child like fear and mankind has survived them obviously...

David of ADAPT2030 deals in seed crops and travels the world...he sees these weather changes in real time, he's seen the fruit crops in Europe destroyed, in real time and he's seen the wheat crop losses in Asia in real time.

So it's not "some apparent cycle" it's a real cycle and Western civilization has ignored the cycles traditionally...now you add purposed deception and society will fail to reasonably prepare.

We are not talking about something millions of years from now...were talking about now into the next 30 years...no fear, just smart.

Below is a body of scientific work that mirrors our findings and what we can expect.

I read a long time ago that the more recent ice ages were caused by cyclical shifts in ocean currents. Clearly, if the Gulf Stream shifted to a more southerly course, Western Europe would have a much colder climate.

The discussion is somewhat like that, but some might have to be more self sufficient but there is no way to know when that might be, other than looking at the past and pretending that some apparent cycle will begin a cold or hot period. Most likely from the past million years it can be guessed that in the next millennia or two or three or more, a new glaciation might occur. The natural world being a place of wholesale death can be a dangerous place even for a rational animal as long as it does not go crazy with fear of the future.
Clarke wrote of childhood's end due to alien intervention. It is time for a childhood's end and an adulthood for the rational animals on Earth. Time to grow up and get over childlike fears instilled by those who get their jollies from messing with others. This pretending to know the future about climate, implying a knowledge about future weather, is irrational. Unless there is civil discussion with no personal input, the science, if it actually is science and not feel good stuff, may or may not be able to forecast the future of weather and thus climate. I am betting that it is not possible.
And lastly, getting on the 'WE' collective wagon will only cause pain and suffering.

No one is excited, just disappointed that there are some that say one thing while another is going on, hiding things, lying about everything. If we had the truth within our reach we could prepare for the inconvenient truth, and that truth is that we are going to have to grow our food differently, for a while...we each are not as self sufficient as we as a people once were.

That's what this discussion is about.

Let's hear it everyone! "Weather is weather" and does not imply that there is anything like global climate. Weather is what exists and climate is a temporal measure of weather over decades as cyclical patterns and cannot be the cause of future weather or cause of anything. Climate is the weather patterns in a local geographical area and cannot be averaged over the whole Earth, less you start believing nonsense. Debate usually ends in name calling and saying "shut up" from all sides. Just means that it is too early in the science to make long future predictions or even those of much more than a week or two ahead.
Gerlich and Tscheuschner (2007) Gave good reasons about how the calculations necessary to predict Earth's climate may be impossible with any foreseeable computers. Besides the equations being non-linear partial differential and chaotic in nature, they are continuous in nature and would require at the very least a really fine data grid to give any where close to realistic predictions. Most models use a grid of kilometer size areas which is nowhere near usable for any than very short term predictions.
As for the cyclonic storms, they are not unusual. Nothing to get excited about unless you believe that all possible somewhat odd weather has happened and that that weather does not fit that belief.

HAARP WAS down for a while, while they changed the team running it. Some parts were put in place at a base in Puerto Rico, but HAAARP Alaska is very much still active. People in Calif. are beginning to research the changes (artificial) to the ionosphere, blaming HAARP. for their multi-year drought. One meeting of government officials discussed HAARP, and mentioned 50 more commercial weather control installations in the US, besides those in Russia, Britain, and a host of other countries. We are truly playing with something best left to nature. Oddly, during the time Obama would have us believe HAARrP was shut down, right over our WalMart, preceding a damaging storm, were the most obvious fields of HAARP clouds you could ever see, Nature does not created perfectly shaped clouds, evenly spaced, identical, filling the whole sky! I found it interesting that Obama named his government mortgage program HARP, maybe to deflect attention and confuse people? I actually know someone who was in the HAARP facility, and he swears to its continuation.

You know, I lived in CA for a few years, 75-78 and it was just as hot then...didn't have the droughts even though it didn't rain much in Ontario.

We've been hearing about the excessive high temperatures on the west coast, but nothing about snow in August in Canada. I wonder why?

HAARP is down for now, has been for a while...all that money just pissed away. They failed to expand the atmosphere...it has condensed anyway in response to the sun cycle.
They were arrogant to think they could out do mother nature.

The sun is entering a minor cool down phase. The climate is likely entering a normal start to a mini ice ace. HAARP continues to mess the the ionosphere from both Alaska and Puerto Rico. By now even the UN has given up on figuring it out, claiming they do not care if any of their doom and gloom are real, as long as people believe what they tell them, and they can control them.Climate change happened before there was industrialized society and cars. The only change is now the government weather warfare devices are at work, but the mainstream globalist press will not print it.

In the back of my mind always held out some hope...maybe they really don't know or maybe they really are stupid...the stupid have to work somewhere...but it is really clear this time...in real time, and close by to boot.

I'm wondering if such polar vortexes is how Mother Nature cranks up an ice age.
Little dino was taught in school the theory that this planet is not yet free of the cyclic repetition called the Ice Ages.
According to the theory based on provable past events, It's repetitious cycles called global warming that causes ice sheets to recede.
Any of this climate change manmade? Humbug! sez old dino. Humbug!

That's why the hoaxers changed the name from "global warming" to "climate change". Now they can blame any weather on it.

All of this contradicts with the "truth" of the global warming narrative, so of course it's not going to be reported in American media outlets. Our news institutions have become a collective version of the old Soviet Pravda, spouting only the approved propaganda mixed in with meaningless trivia so they can pretend they're spontaneous. It's truly sad when all of the news anchors across the networks regurgitate the exact same words and phrases that can usually be traced back to a White House press release.

Amazing how no one talks about the fruit crop losses in Europe and the loss of wheat and corn crops in Asia and down under.

We had quite a few butterfly's this year and some white caterpillars.

OUCarl, thanks for the Adapt2030 links. I saw one in March with video from the monarch butterfly sanctuary and millions of dead monarchs knee deep frozen on the ground.
I have had milkweed in my gardens for decades and have enjoyed observing the butterflies. If you have seen the pods they contain hundreds of seeds connected to a Cotten like fluff. In the fall I will release a flurry from my car to spread the seeds. Milkweed is where they lay their eggs. Last summer one day I saw 2 dozen or more butterflies at one time. This year I finally saw my first in mid July, and soon (a few weeks) after I found a catapiler on the milkweed. I brought it to a bird seed store locally that is known for protecting the caterpillars in net cages and then releasing after metamorphing into butterflies. The woman at the store was excited as it was the first caterpillar found and brought to them , they have volunteers that go to fields to hunt for them and this year they were able to find only 27 eggs that hatched and become caterpillars .Last year at the same time of year they had already released 325. I told the woman who was certainly expert in Monarchs about the die off and she had no idea.
The media is horsecrap and I have consciously avoided all of it for the past year ,no paper anymore, no evening news, no fox ,no CNBC . My head was exploding from the daily dose of dis function it was going to give me dis ease.
