I wonder why this oppressed quarterback in the National Football League is taking home an average of $19,000,000 each year.

Perhaps his protest would be better served to refuse those tainted dollars.

I care when the excuse given is to denigrate our country. This is 2016, not 1916. People like Kaepernick who pretend that we have systemic racism sicken me...

Even a brainwashed dimwit has a right to protest, but only if the owners of the venue (have something to gain from it and) allow it.

I am sure that the NFL will look at this. However, I have an issue with his excuse. The country does not discriminate, people do, specifically the political elite that run the country. Not just the politicians at the top but all the way down the food chain to local politicians and police. I am not saying everyone of them is bad but it seems as if there are plenty of bad ones to go around and vilify or corrupt the good ones.
