Student Patrick Sharp organizes 'White Student Union' at Georgia State University | wtsp.com
If someone has a problem with this group, and not all the other race based student organizations then wouldn't that mean that that someone is okay with discriminating against a certain group solely based on race?
But all of that drops a lot of context.
The peculiar nature of slavery in America, Jim Crow, and segregation made Black Student Unions important in their time. But of necessity, that came with ideological problems that never were identified objectively.
By definition, racism is prejudice with power. Whites held power. But now our President is an African-American in a funny kind of what that makes him more like a second-generation European immigrant. But that is not the point. Now, every prejudiced person can look forward to power.
"Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man’s genetic lineage—the notion that a man’s intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors." -- Ayn Rand
I find it offensive that self-styled "individualist" tolerates, excuses, and justifies discrimination as a political right. You have a political right to cut off your nose. Do that you advocate that also? For an Objectivist, the irrational is immoral. Anyone who has read _Atlas Shrugged_ and actually understood it should know that.

Who are you referring to when you talk about the "self-styled individualist justifying discrimination"? And how is it irrational to point out the irrationality of other groups, (which is what I believe is the whole point of this new group..and whatever group hung the swastika signs proved their own irrationality.)
