This video should be played every commercial break on every channel, every day.

It would be humor if it wasn't so sad.

It was a long, long time ago. Dunno if I had crappy instruction before shooting or if I just didn't catch the bit about the bubble.
Draftee me was against the Vietnam War but I've always been fascinated with firearms.
If my MOS had drawn 0300 I would have fought to do my part for keeping Marines around me alive.
I was not a lovey dovey peacenik but had a big time problem with the police action strategy and tactics for protecting a government I viewed as corrupt and having an army only good for running away, leaving ti to Americans to take care of (their) business..
Recall complaining to others that the U.S. was just playing cowboys and Indians over there.
We'd find out where some enemy was sighted, go in often on Hueys, get into firefights until the enemy ran away and then we'd fly back.
Was years I was later nodding at the ending of Mel Gibson's "We Were Soldiers." A North Vietnamese officer leads troops back to the vacated battlefield, picks up a little toy American flag someone left behind and makes a remark about how they'd win and we'd lose.

As long as I can see you in some weird bubble that floats around in the scope, you and that tank will be moving all over the countryside like so much fiery rain.
Well, that's how that scope was back in early 1970.
Trainer only gave me a practice rocket and a real rocket. The target was a junked tank.
With the practice rocket loaded, I wiggled that bazooka they wouldn't call a bazooka around while seeing only darkness in the scope while glimpsing the side of some bubbly thing over here, over there, over here, over there.
The trainer lost patience and told me to shoot and of course I missed.
Reloaded, the trainer was all "Aw, just shoot."
That's when the bubble bobbed into sight with the image of the target.
I hit the tank and happily moved on so the trainer could torment another Marine, who would be an admin or supply clerk like me.
We noncoms were being familiarized with assorted weapons in case of emergencies.
My favorite was the M60 general purpose machine gun. Firing that thing was a rush!

No bazooka. I played the trombone.
    I have no stress currently.
There are some who try to bring it to me, but I have refused it and am managing to live without it.

I know how to use a bazooka, though the USMC preferred to call it a rocket launcher.
Well, I like "bazooka" better, baby! Woo!
Yeah, you come at me with a Sherman as long as I have as many rockets as you have shells.
    Gung ho!

Should I challenge you to a duel to protect my offended honor, promise to be a buddy and pick pistols over swords.
Old dino can't move around like I used to.
Don't worry about me being a good shot.
I promise to fight fair. See? Nothing to worry about!

Being an Objectivist in this era, in this climate is obviously maddening. You two are a couple of the maddest. Can I join?

This video is great humor. The sad thing is, to use a term from that era, Hillary is an "Anti-Amerikan" ideologue since the late 60's. As is Obama.

And, contrary to the hype of that era, she is not doing it selflessly but as true successful dictators do: a beyond the pale lust for both power and money. And willing to use any means to her ends.

    But, Ameriphobe fits as well.
