I've read Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. I've seen the first part of Atlas Shrugged. I'm going to get around to the second part and third part when it's out.

The numbers reflect of the billions upon billions of web pages in the world, only 227,911 are more popular than this one, as of today. It shows that in the few months, that I have been around to see the numbers, this website's popularity has increased dramatically.

They are numbers based on a computerized algorithm that translates the number of visitors to a site with the Alexa tool bar and compares those to all of the other websites in the world. Alexa only ranks the top 20 million or so.

Oh - its been MUCH higher than this in 2013 already. But I have noticed a large influx of new members in the past two months. Wonder why...

Being that I am a web developer, I have the Alexa tool bar running on my browser. When I first happened upon this site a few months ago, the Alexa ranking was around 600,000. As of this moment it is 227,912. Yep, there is a lot more people visiting here...

I signed up recently b/c after a presentation on microlending at my small UU congregation, someone said as a criticism, "that borders on something I'd expect from Ayn Rand." The presenter said he took at as a complement. I said I would too.

Most UUs are very anti-Rand. When I ask them why, I can't get an answer. My guess is a lot of Rand fans have more than our share of rude jacka$$es, and I guess these UU's have run into a few of them. Also, UUs may have more than our share of Ellsworth Tooheys, although I certainly hope not.

This inspired me to search for Rand on the web, and I came to this group. It must be a coincidence that other people are finding it at the same time.
