I didn't post this. I wonder who did. Anyone who doesn't like the Beatles should be locked away and forced to listen to "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" Over and over until they recant. But isn't this a violation of some sort?I certainly didn't give anyone permission to quote me or use my name. I met her through a bit of subterfuge. I knew when "the collective" met and where her and Branden's offices were in the Empire State Building. I knew a buddy of Brandens who was also a shrink. I went with him to the "meeting" with him and introduced myself to Rand and she asked me what I had to add to the forum. Normally, I'm quite vocal about this, but suddenly I became tongue-tied, and rather than wait for a reply she turned to my buddy and started a conversation with him.I swear though, I thought she was looking at me with a bit of a grin so I was encouraged to go up to her after a while and introduce myself, and she said, "Oy, another Jew. I'm not sure if this is an objectivist get-together or a Jewish enclave." Or some words to that effect. That was when I was in my 20's, and we were just coming out of the bronze age so my 84 year old memory ain't what it used to be. I may need Prevagen.
The only computer I knew of then was the M.A.N.I.A.C. Which was tube type punch card computer that took up most of the 3rd floor of the old Main Bldg. At Wayne University.
I was just going through my old journal and notes and stuff and the closest I could come was March 1966 Boy, time flies when you're having life. A brain is a sort of "soft" time machine.Whoever put up this post got those rusty gears of mine oiled up and moving.
This post is a real doozy. What is this a type of time machine. Welcome (my WFA), to the gulch. Have a great day today and an even better one tomorrow !
