    I recognize how cold that is, it just occurred to me one day. As a baseball manager for 13 years I've argued many times “ I didn't make the rules, I just play by them.” From that perspective, it’s a sound statement.

    Oh that's a good point I've never thought of. I always end up trying to explain what rights actually are and how they can't exist without social interaction and how a fetus isn't an independent member of society yada yada but I like that thanks.

    Embryos weren’t born in the US; they weren’t born at all. They aren’t protected by the constitution.
    14th Amendment
    All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
