I, for one, as a practicing Christian deeply resent the implication that I do not care about those less fortunate. AR never said the less fortunate should never be considered, she said the assistance should be a matter of individual conscience. Maybe the person writing the article should have read, and understood, the arguments in 'Virtue of Selfishness'. Nowhere does the implication exist which the writer imputes.
