Needed Gulch feature

I think the gulch online would benefit greatly from giving the users an easy way to see only the threads they have already posted in. Once there, a notification feature signaling if anything new had been posted on that thread would be handy.

    Actually... In your Settings you can check the box to get emails when someone replies to a post or comment of yours.

    And under the dropdown for your name, you can see your own Submitted posts and Comments.

    I appreciate the new bookmarklet, but really, you know, we are supposed to be the most inventive thinkers on the planet - Miracle Metal, Invisible Power Screen, Free-hanging Truss Arches ... to say nothing of hiding the front porch around back and rediscovering the light bulb... So, really, features are indeed benefits, but I never mind working bit for my fun.

    one of my favorite docent stories. This guy who probably lied about his age to enlist, was a waist gunner on both B17s and B24s. He liked the B24 better because he could fill up his lighter from the leaking fuel line running through the bomb bay. Before anyone lit up , they'd make sure the bomb bay door was open

    And soon they will be gone. Who, then, will tell us of the things that happened? All we shall have are the dry and sterile words on a page to remind us of those who struggled, and died, to keep us safe and free. We shall never see their like again.

    I had my private for awhile but it got too expensive to fly and my medical was out of sight as I had to have a cerebral angiogram every year, per your friendly FAA, for a stent in my left vertebral artery. I flew mostly 172s, although my favorite was the Cherokee 180. Still have my logbook. Sure miss those quiet times at FL120. Reminds of a line from 'Out of Africa' when Redford says to Streep that he wants her to see the world through God's eyes. Sorta like that.

    Was no pilot. Motor pool. Was 6 mos too old when received commission and AF would not credit 4 yrs enlisted. Really would have liked to have flown transports. Wasn't interested in fast movers. b-52 would have been okay but really wanted 141, FRED, 130, or 17.

    You couldn't go wrong after moving up to officer. Did you maintain your pilots license after you got out?

    Awesome! I was enlisted for 7 years. Worked on MMII ICBMs for 4 and was a flight engineer on the C-5 for 3. (Mostly I just went to school. LOL)

    My favorite is Pima Air and Space Museum. dang, I never tire of visiting there. The docents from WWII are getting fewer every year ;(

    If you've never been there, look at all the aircraft on display around the parade field, aircraft going back to the 30's. My favorites are the B-56 Canberra and the A-37B Dragonfly. Flew a T-37 during visit to Luke AFB while in ROTC. Easy airplane to fly, very forgiving. T-37 called Tweety Bird. Burns jet fuel and whistles.

    Oowah!! I'm retired AF. Enlisted and officer. Went through Lackland in 1969. Was at Lackland yesterday on business for my daughter.
