I have out east up until this past year, now they seem to disperse normally without creating cloud cover...up until the change, I thought it was just increases in air traffic but I also am aware of other natural things that effect cloud cover...but geoengineering is still on the table...it would not surprise me in the least.

However, this article is disturbing none the less. These creatures are screwy, they scream about the environment then go right out make it worse.

"Some" of these so called new cloud formations are due to our weakened shields leaving us vulnerable to cosmic radiation...

In the twin cities the Chemtrails last for hours and the contrails last for ten to twenty Seconds .In December at -16 most commercial aircraft barely leave a contrail. The fact that they now have names and are calling them clouds is telling. Google images and do a little research.

Where do you get that idea about contrails disappearing very quickly? Life time for them depend upon the properties of the atmosphere when they are created and afterwards. Just because some seem to last a long time does not give any evidence toward the presence of chemtrails.

What theory might that be? I am not sure that there is even a hypothesis to disprove there that is of any importance other than that one can get an idea and run with it for more future funding.
I have not, here in southern Wisconsin, noticed any change in appearance of contrails other than greater numbers of them, over the last 60 years or more.

As we enter the grand solar minimum and the Earth begins to cool they will take credit for it.

The scientist in this article states that this is not the first or only study. Reality it has been going on for a dozen or more years.
I challenge you to look up images and tell me that is normal to have a tick tac toe pattern in the sky.

I have seen 2 planes at the same time very very high up one had a contrail that dissipated with in moments the other was long out of sight and an hour later the milky remnants remained.

The contrails I recall did disappear in minutes and the length behind the aircraft was short as a result. Today they can be seen for hours as very long streaks. Can't explain the differences in length and elapsed time compared to the past, and I'm interested in a rational, scientifically supportable answer. When I have time for longer observation and photo record keeping, I will;^) The weather is getting better for it every day.

Thanks, freedomforall, but I'm still not buying into the poison-the-earth-contrail conspiracy. I'd like a definition of "very quickly" and I'm old enough to know that 20 years ago (or even 30 or 40) contrails didn't necessarily disappear in minutes. It all depends on altitude, temperature, wind speed, ambient humidity and how much H2O a given engine type is dumping in the atmosphere at a given moment (accelerating, decelerating, cruising). Yes, I know a contrail is composed of a little more than H2O, but even a natural atmospheric cloud of H2O can last a "long time". Pick one out on a non-windy day and watch it. I say on a non-windy day so it doesn't get past your horizon before it starts to disappear. A better experiment would be if you're lucky enough to have a contrail go through the cloud you're watching and see which one disappears first.

I wonder if the wife would buy it if I declare I need to do a scientific experiment on the next nice semi-cloudy day as I grab a case of cold ones, the chaise lounge, tunes, a stop watch and head out back for some serious observation and data collection. That could be because the newer engines burn cleaner, and don't emit as much particulate matter for the vapor to condense on.

Of course they'll take credit, that's the way the AGW scam was always structured.... if it gets hotter, say we aren't doing enough, and need to spend more. If it gets cooler, say that its working, and we need to spend more....
