Hello. My name is Haley.

I love the ideas of Ayn Rand. I love free will, in both personal decisions and business decisions. I truly love capitalism and praise it as the epitome of freedom. I am currently sixteen years old and am horrified by the mentality of many people in the world: the mentality that human beings exist only to be slaves to others.
On a more casual note, a large part of my personality is my "nerdiness" I am fascinated by science (especially chemistry), and I love video games and novels of the fantasy genre.

It's awesome that you've found your way to Rand's thoughts at your age. I didn't read her until grad school. From that experience of mine, I'm going to give you the following advice which I hope you treat seriously:
Do NOT work backwards from what you've read. What this means is:
-Do NOT let the philosophy define you. Define yourself then figure out how you fit in reality.
-Study the philosophy on a detailed level deductively not inductively. What that means is, learn Metaphysics ---> Epistemology ---> Ethics. Everything else follows from those subjects AND it's up to you to apply philosophy in the best way you see, not simply accept the applications of any other person.
