We Are At War

I have an e-mail pal who is a journalist currently assigned to Paris. He got there to cover the terrorist attacks and it has become his beat. As part of a rather long e-mail he sent me the following which I have edited for brevity. It is a description of entering the American Embassy.: First, there are three checkpoints before entering the courtyard. Next come concrete caissons which are spaced five feet apart which is the first line of defense. Next are the French police, three pairs standing abreast of their squad cars which are parked directly before the Embassy gates. They all carry sub-machine guns.Next there is a watch house which is posted with a Marine security detachment. The streets are cordoned off for four blocks in every direction and there are snipers stationed on nearby rooftops. Now, who would like to tell me that we're not at war?

And, you could include the 30% of government employees who do nothing but collect a paycheck and are protected by unions. They may not be terrorists but the money they suck out of the economy could be called treason.

I was not either until I asked for hollow points, was handed a box of those instead and did not notice the difference until I got home.
Shortly thereafter, I showed a FTX to my son, who said he had recently read that the round was an aerodynamic improvement for getting from the gun to the target.

Lots of guilty parties. Lucky there are lots of jail cells for the small fish. Electrocute Obama with power from a coal fired power plant.

First is to leave the UN and kick their Kakistacratic out of NY. Next is no exemptions for foundations period and only charities unless they are thoroughly audited. A good start would be Lois Lerner ,Holder, the evil hag, Debbie Wasserman Schultz , Huma Abdin, Obama and the joint chiefs who allowed the dissection of the constitution every mayor or governor who give Safe space to illegal aliens
Kathleen Sebelius ,Podesto both Bushes, Cheney
Kissinger , Soros , the Ninth circuit wow once you get started weeding out the murderers and looters ......

More than half of the congress, the "supreme" court (their self definition, not mine), and every employee in every unconstitutional federal agency is complicit in the decline of the sovereign people to a status lower than that of the victors of the American revolution. All the "public servants" above should be treated as domestic enemies and traitors to individual liberty.

    We do, don't we?
Nero wasn't that bad. As murderous narcissists go, he was fairly small time compared to modern despots.

We are at war and the enemy has infiltrated the intelligence agency's and half of the congress.
We do not hold our politicians to the laws they create. Most of the education system and the media are complicit. See Dino's CNN Fake News post.
Not only have we been the target of Islamic attacks as is all of the so called western world.
We are shamed to accept all comers in the name of tolerance and diversity, never mind the cowardly murders of young girls at a concert in Manchester and the slashing of throats of any in striking distance in London. They attack Israel and use innocent human shields with the hope that those shields are killed to further their cause. The list goes on and on. Oh be sure you aren't a bigot
that is worse than killing randomly and subjecting women to Sharia Laws. Unfricking real.

You have that right. They hide behind PC and altruism while they care for no one but themselves.

Due to neuropathy in my hands I must use a revolver. A snub 38 is not too intrusive. Being an old guy I always remember Charlie Chan when I say revolver because the actor who played him doing a so-called Chinese accent always pronounced it "rewalawa."

Here in Tarpon Springs we have more homeless than miscreants. If I didn't use hollow points, and I shot one of them I'd probably also hit a homeless person two chickens and an armadillo.

I have my own way of living with terrorism.
The only bodyguard I can afford is the 9mm in my right front pocket.
Its easy to slip off holster kinda looks like a billfold at first.
Wonder why I thought that may be a good idea?

Being armed is a good thing. Case in point is what Homeland Security Secretary, John Kelly said that he told Steve Doocy of Fox News. "If he knew what I know about terrorism, he'd never leave the house in the morning." But the mayor of New York and former Secretary of State, John Kerry say that we need to learn to live with terrorism...it's the new normal. Mmm, I wonder if that's why they have walls around their homes and lots of body guards. That's the difference between the Elites and the Little People.

We being at war is a reason why I go about armed right here in a town called Pleasant Grove, Alabama.
The other reasons include run-of-the-mill criminals, crazy people and the Birmingham City Limits being less than 15 minutes away in some places.

I imagine that many embassies have stepped up their security. As long as the American Flag flies, that will be a target. If we are not at war with them, they most certainly are with us.

That is a lot higher level of security compared to the embassies I have been near in the past in Bahamas, Australia, Thailand, and NZ. Can't comment on the current security in those locations, but I'd guess they have stepped up security, too.
