Or understand, in all the comments I read none of them are close to being correct in what Rand or objectivism is about.
LOL! Kaslow, you're definitely one of the great flim-flam artists (did you learn the art in law school? Just wondering.). The PT Barnum of Galt's Gulch. Obviously, you're bilking the New Objectivist Community (the old one was bilked by repeatedly paying for lectures and tapes at NBI) — requesting "donations" that will have nothing to do with the actual soul of the movie (the screenwriting, the casting, the directing) — and everything to do with the most superficial aspects; i.e., donating $7,500 to have one's name carved into John Galt's house? Well, Holy Sheeet! And I'll bet there are some on this board dumb enough to pay it!
Congratulations, man!
I'm almost moved to tears at the beautiful elegance of this scam. You already know that the box-office will bring in squat (why would Part 3 perform significantly better than Parts 1 and 2?). So why not make some dough now, well before release, by getting the New Objectivist Community to pay for the movie several times (since they are, after all, your core audience): once on Kickstarter in the form of a "donation"; a second time at the box office when they buy a ticket; and a third time when they buy the DVD.
Sweet.
The only thing your favorite scapegoats — "the Haters" — actually hate is a crappy movie. That you continue to produce them, yet find "creative" ways of making money from them (via "donations") proves what an inspired fraud you are.
In fact, the fraudulent nature of this entire "donation" scam has been the most entertaining part of the Atlas Shrugged trilogy so far. I'm enjoying it tremendously.
All of these hit pieces are rehashes of each other.
Impotent ranting at an idea that they can't seem to snuff out.
No matter how they smear, Atlas is still quoted on the Senate floor.
