The Trouble With Truth

One of the cute little tricks of the left that I have detected recently is to attribute a truth to a universally recognized villain, thus, in their minds, neutralizing the validity of that truth. But does it? Truth: That which corresponds to reality. Truth stands alone no matter who says it. It doesn't matter if that truth is presented by Rand or by Hitler, the truth stays true no matter who says it. If a truth is mouthed by George Soros, after it has been espoused by Ayn Rand, it does not negate that truth. The truth may be tainted in some minds because it was said by a villain. Do not be fooled. And remember this, one of the very worse things you can do is to refuse to recognize the truth because you don't like it.
I loved the sign my daughter-in-law had taped to the fridge:
Because I'm The Mommy. That's Why. DEAL WITH IT!

    Sometimes.
So, who promised you a rose garden?
Without pain, and sadness, how will you know joy and elation? Life's a roller coaster -- up, down and sometimes level, but in the words of Geothe, "Nothing is as boring as an endless succession of lovely days."

    Beware the military-industrial complex.
Wasn't that Eisenhower? We have very little reason to be there . Hopefully, Trump will turn out to be a saber rattler not a saber user.

Always has been. The only thing that tops the Marx Bros. humor is the clowns in Washington DC.

The higher your expectation, the better your result. But that only works personally. Keep 'em high, and make them live up to them to the amount of your ability.

    Good analogy!

...and interesting conclusion precipitating on the ability of people to be responsible for themselves or the popular vote.

Beleiving may get to what's definite. There may be believing like knowing. A belief may be above various talking of knowing.
