I think that public schools should be closed, and the tax money that supports them should be given back to the people who paid them.
I am not a fan of public colleges at all. Berkeley is the end result. It used to be a bastion of free thinking at least. no longer.
At least with private schools, they have to be good or people wont send their kids there. With public schools, there is no accountability, since tax money is extracted from citizens (some of them dont have kids even) and wasted on things like common core.
That would make for a great public service announcement!
I can see it now LBGQLT and the rest of the alphabet minions choking on raindrops with an Indian. In head gear crying while looking down from a peterbuilt semi truck. If I win the lottery I might just ask your permission To use that content and air my own commercial.
Congrats on your business success. Yes she works now for the school district she attended as a lead in the gifted and talented program. She attended the university of Kansas in Lawrence,Ks ----that place is the Berkley of Kansas. I remember being scolded on her orientation day Fifteen years ago for tearing down bills posted to the poles and trees that was liberal rubbish., as we walked around the campus. She did like the fact that I told her if anyone gives her any trouble I will come down there and destroy them. Even though her response was "Oh Dad"
Unfortunately, you arent the only influence in her life. Spending all day in a relatively collectivist and therefore worthless education system counteracts what you might teach her. Looking back at my education mostly in public school, I would say it was substantially a waste of time. I learned more on my own and through meeting successful people along the way. I did attend MIT for mechanical engineering, and I will say it was a great education. Between what they taught and my introduction to Ayn Rand's philosophy, I was indeed ready to have a good life. I started a number of companies over the years based on my inventions, mostly for the fun of it. The money was a very welcome benefit, and no doubt a result of making things I traded to them.
MIT and Ayn Rand taught me that not only is the world a rational place, but that I could operate successfully in it, and has nothing to fear from it.
It surprises me they don't drown in rainstorms from looking up with their mouths open....America, a country where hard work, thrift and industry are taxed and sloth indolence and illegitimacy are rewarded through government programs.
Yes I know. My wife is very objective politically and fiscally sound but she is emotionally wired in her mind. My daughter is very intelligent and loving but she has been brainwashed by the education system. I am trying to rinse the altruism away but it takes a river of water.
It only makes sense to recognize reality if you were skeptical that SH wasn't a good choice but now see that your doubts were unwarranted, well that is fine by me. Enjoy the holidays $5Au.
I didnt want to imply there are none at all !! I even know a few. Not a lot of them live in Vegas, I would say, and not a lot of people in general are in the media.
The love fest for the great and all powerful O and Josh Earnest's press briefings are in total contrast https://youtu.be/-q3FSYjb25k To President Trumps and Sarah Huckabee Sanders briefings. Don't watch much of the above clip it will cause nausea to an objectivist. If you just peek it is like little old granny's going on and on about how cute an ugly newborn is.
I am in the security business....if there is one thing I have found is that if people weren't that stupid, they would find themselves in court a lot less.
That reminds me of the assault trial when the judge asks the victim " Can you identify the two men that assaulted you"? In unison the two defendants Stand and say "here your honor"
My wild imagination suddenly caused me dino to envision ripping those so-called reporters to bits by furiously snapping my jaws, slashing with my forearm talons, batting them about with my tail and stamping up and down, up and down, up and down to flatten all those evil curs! I am dino~ Hear me ROAR! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApzQk...
I am sure that President Trump would put in the best candidate for the job regardless of sex. That's the way it should be! "The look" worked for us as parents. Not so much for today's parents who don't understand that they are the boss.
