His claims: that Google unfairly discriminates against white men whose political views are unpopular with its executives.

Damore is joined in the suit by another former Google engineer named David Gudeman, who spent three years with Google working on a query engine. According to Gudeman's LinkedIn profile, he left the company in December 2016 and has been self-employed since.

The lawsuit, filed by Dhillon Law Group, says it aims to represent all employees of Google who've been discriminated against due to their "perceived conservative political views by Google," due to "their male gender by Google" and "due to their Caucasian race by Google."

We have to stop economic support to the camel's trainers. Government must be de-funded by the people or nothing will stop the destruction of individual liberty.

We've allowed the camel's nose into the tent and it is now inside, trampling everything to pieces. This, too, shall pass.

what is new about this, conservative white me live with as much discrimination as any minority group. when conservative white men finally give up the whole of the world economy will come to a screeching halt. it will happen when they the white men finally understand completely the meaning of "the sanction of the victims" !!!!

I favor letting the free market decide, but there is no free market. We don't want government to interfere, but they are interfering and in this case they are arguably practicing discrimination that is not performance based. The laws should never have been allowed to interfere, but they exist and allowing government or private firms to use bias when applying the law is unacceptable, too.

Our Constitutional freedom of association includes hiring whomever we want. The hiring contract includes mutually agreed-upon rules of conduct. If Google wants only progressive, multiculturally inclined groupthink folks, let them. As long as Google's main product in the tech field is desired by customers, their business will thrive. It would be good for an alternative search service to be available, as our society has become dependent on Google for its day-to-day functioning. Should we boycott Google for the beliefs of their executives and interrupt our own efficiency? As long as we use its services, its internal politics are irrelevant. Since when do we want government to enforce private relationships and hiring practices?

It occurred to me that just like the Christian baker that refused to bake a cake (serve) for a gay couple Google has the right to employ whoever they choose. Am I way off base on this?

ALL major corporations in the Twin Cities have been actively discriminating against straight white males since the 1980's. I assumed it was happening across America. As much as I dislike the structure of class action lawsuits, this is one I'd VERY happily join.

This is all part of the "uncivil war" being waged against a rational society. These corporate HR people are like the idiot who has to drive in the passing lane right alongside a car in the right with no one ahead of him and a trail of 50 cars behind wanting to pass. Some perceived wrong doing by white men in the past is enough for them to discriminate doling out their own self anointed justice. I would love to know how to by pass Google and YouTube. To support them is unfortunate , being the monopoly they are.
This is just one of many powerful companies now employing quota systems or discrimination.
I makes me sick these idiots all follow the leftist dogma
    That is Ruinous to all.

Me dino is thinking about the last newspaper I worked for.
When I took the job during 1980, who thought a newspaper in the middle of Mississippi would expect me to be against the same President Reagan I voted for.
That same year me dino learned to my surprise that I could make more money painting walls for a construction company.
21 years with the Alabama Department of Corrections came next. It all worked out. Most of my cash flow is now a state retirement plan.
