"John Brennan and James Clapper were doing whatever the hell they wanted, without any judicial warrants, and I think there were numerous people in the Obama administration who were using intelligence — one, to try to bring Trump down; but two, also, they were using it for political purposes," he said. "And this is very, very worrisome." Rand Paul

The media and federal police would act with force to destroy any resistance to federal slavery. Anyone who has risen to a governorship will not risk his fiefdom (and his life) for the little people. I think the only realistic and legal action open to the people is a consumer strike. Of course, as soon as enough people restrict their consumption to necessities, the con-gress will likely pass a law making it illegal to keep any savings, and confiscation of firearms will be the next step.

It does apply. Never giving them the power to do anything of consequence is the solution. Decentralization of power.

If the Gulch can't be created, then an uprising, aka Revolution maybe the only alternative of destroying the Deep State. Or, maybe secession if there are some very smart and shrewd governors who see that the federal gov't is turning into a Orwellian monster.

How about some excerpts and a table of contents from your book?
Imo, Hamilton was a traitor and a power craving monarchist.

"in reality what ever the the bad guys are doing it does not affect us little people." ???
    Did I misunderstand you?
You think the actions of congress do NOT affect the rest of us?
You think Obamacare doesn't affect us?
You think the IRS doesn't affect us?
You think the federal reserve banking cartel doesn't affect us?
You think that that Desert Storm, Afghanistan "police actions" etc etc doesn't affect us?

Highly charged emotion is an extremely effective tool in getting useful idiot forces to rally for quick short term gratification.
Logic and reason just don’t seem to be as strong any more. Can anyone say, “public schooling?”

“The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.
To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.”

― Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

I think this applies to all political positions. Legislators should be drafted, with fatal consequences if they screw up.

I figure that most of them think they know what they’re doing, but they’re doing it anyways.

There are people outside of Congress that pull the strings of the puppet Congress. These people use the hate and the egos and the prejudices of Congress to get what they want.

when i read only 8 people in congress know what they are doing i stopped reading. that is a contradiction, as far as i am concerned there is not ONE person in congress that knows what he/she is doing.
in reality what ever the the bad guys are doing it does not affect us little people.

Methinks our Republic first began to erode into a so-called one of those a long, long time ago when an elected official Sent To Serve The People at our nation's capital came to the realization: "Hey, I can make a career out of this."

They already have more than enough power required to do that. Using it would not advance the pols hidden agenda. Their goals are not what they claim they are. Their agenda is more power and wealth for themselves, and we are the slaves to provide it.

    Agree completely.
We must remove our financial support to reduce federal government power. Ideally, that would be via our elected reps and judges doing their jobs: declare the 16th amendment unconstitutional and repeal the federal reserve act.
But the corrupt pols and judges have no ethics and are chasing power for themselves, so our only peaceful, legal choice is to collapse their system via a consumer strike.

Politicians do not need more power. They, and the unelected national security people you speak of, need MUCH LESS power. Otherwise we end up living in an environment much like Ayn Rand described in Atlas Shrugged.

Why don't politicians have powers over unelected national security people? How do we get them more power?

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion:the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases while the citizens may act only by permission:which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force." Ayn Rand
