Stupid Looking Obama Center To Cost Illinois Taxpayers Nearly $200 Million

Well over 8 years ago, Candidate Obama somehow got Joe The Plumber publicly put down by the press for telling him he wanted to spread the wealth around.
And whose wealth does a self-proclaimed socialist want to spread around? Never his.
By the way, there will be no books in this Obamanation's shrine to himself. Barry's legacy is not into libraries.
To be fair, the infrastructure surrounding the center is to be improved by some of the $200 million. To enhance the beauty of the eyesore, I suppose.

Sadly, for a large swath of the electorate, the answer is apparently "yes". Dumbed down useful idiots.

Logical, but Bin Laden was too obviously evil for even Time...Hitler, in 1938, was still considered a “respectable world leader”...that year included a conference with Neville Chamberlain and other leaders at which they “peacefully” carved up Europe to placate Hitler through appeasement. So, he was not seen for what he turned out to be...and “Peace in Our Time” lasted about a year...

I wonder why Bin Laden didn’t win Man of the Year? He caused an awful lot of world impact. Although, the tactics used by the American government made things a lot worse, for its own people.

And if it’s supposed to reflect his “legacy”, logically, shouldn’t it have shrunk to the size of outhouse by now...?

    Oh, yeah. logically...

Excuse if you were being sarcastic, but Hitler WAS Time Magazines “Man of the Year” in 1938...but their criteria is not “good or evil”...but having the most world impact...in that sense Time was prescient...

Strange how inciting unceasing hate and resentment in his followers gets him a peace prize. Using that criteria, Hitler would probably earn Man of the Year.

Hey, The Anointed One won the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing before he even had a chance to totally screw up the Middle East.
Now if all that claptrap ain't historic as a Mointy Python skit from hell, me dino don't know what is!

Well, some of the saner folks up in Illinois resent having their grave$ dug.
But like for criticizing the looting of Obama's Regime, wonder if those people are being called racists for opening their mouths.

That spoor would more likely come from Godzilla.
One thing me dino found most particularly ugly about the Obamanation bowel movement was that anyone who stood up against his politically correct job-killing and socialist "I want to spread the wealth around" policies were called racists.
During the King Barry Regime, I recall a female caller to the Hannity radio show saying she would not criticize The Anointed One's polices because she was scared to death of being accused of racism.

Then there is his planned burial site, which features Roman columns and a life-sized statue of himself!
All this while he is plotting the overthrow of the sitting POTUS with Valerie Jarrett, which I believe is illegal. Only Chicago could give the US a man who was a gay prostitute in Hawaii (Manning Report), frequented gay bars in Chicago (Larry Sinclair book),liked abut his parentage and his children as well. Yet taxpayers are supposed to shell out millions for his non-existent legacy? Which is what, attempting to foist Marxism on the country we love!

A hole in the ground of a state is digging deeper. Why should I concern myself?

I was vainly trying to compare the Obama monument to anything I have experienced in my 84 years. It is so ugly in a controversial way, the only thing I could think of to describe it is a bit of Shakespeare, "Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." As to the cost, I must say that all Presidential monuments, libraries, museums, are way too high in cost.. They should limit the cost to that of building a new library in a mid-sized town. How do grand pillars and marble floors tell you anything about the former President other than he was an enormous spender. Except for this monument. Even when leaving office, Obama has managed to cheat the people by overpricing what appears to be the left hand corner of an unfinished Mayan temple, or the spoor of a concrete T-Rex.

It would be worth $200 million to have the entire building surrounding nothing but an empty chair.
