I meant you calling me CQ...not kinky!! hahahaha. Okay, I get it now... punishment...yeah yeah yeah. I like kilts too but I don't see how it's "punishing". (I read 50 shades....I'm not Amish.)

"Boxer’s school safety plan would restore or add funding to some Community Oriented Policing Services programs that pay for police officers, tip lines, surveillance equipment and secured entrances at public schools."

When a phrase like "tip lines" comes out of Boxer's hideous mouth one has to wonder what that REALLY means. And does anybody realize how hard it is to run a school with "secured entrances"...when the hallways are on the OUTSIDE of the school???? I hate this whole discussion. What's wrong with arming the civilian staff?? Armed guards is better than nothing, especially plain clothed ones, BUT if someone surveils the school for a few days that person would be easily discernible from staff.

I see this as being presented as a bargaining chip. You can have your armed guards in schools, but we get to take the arms we don't like from the people. And those who vote against it will be seen as children haters....

        I should get puke pay... when a kid at school barfs all the other adults bolt, leaving good 'ol me to deal with it. I can't be the only person who can stomach this in the entire building! I always feel so bad for the kid because it's such a horrible feeling to puke, especially in front of your friends....lol

        No....that saw dust stuff was done away with in 1975. (I made that up.) No, we have disinfected rags and spray...and a 40 year old mop that the custodian brought with him on his first day. And the carpet squares can be easily pulled up and replaced. The custodian has the weakest of all stomachs (not sure how he's survived so long doing his job), but I laugh at him while his face turns red and he gets beads of sweat on his forehead when he has to clean up nastiness (when I refuse to be the one to do it). One time..he got a call on his radio to clean up a mess and he asked what it was so he'd know what supplies to bring with him and they said, "Well...there's poop on the ceiling." And he said, "THAT'S a first." The PE teacher started singing that Lionel Richie Song..."oooh oohhhohhh...they're poopin' on the ceil-ing". (These are the people that make me love my job!!)

        Ha funny! I would carry concealed but only if I was not mentioned by name and if I wasn't the only staff carrying. I'm not there all day, but I move around a lot and I'm in more vulnerable positions than most teachers. But the odds of that happening are slim to midland. I would just like to hear what's being discussed...if ANYthing is. I don't like being left in the dark.... Okay....that last point was probably redundant.

        my daughter had her tonsils removed. then one day later, was dry heaving and complaining about not being able to breathe well. I was all over her breathing, and calming her then she started throwing up blood and I was horrified of course but I yelled at her-Kira, stay calm. Do NOT Throw up BLOOD . we acted quickly but that phrase will not be lived down. let's wait for her to have a kid

        It's ALL about the carpet. :) One time I put compound W on my son's warts that he had all over his foot when he was like 8... he promptly dragged his foot down the back of the couch and over the cushion. Do you know what that does to a brown leather couch!!??? OY! It's all about the couch.
