I don't like Donald Trump
It's true...I've never really like Donald Trump, because he is a bully and I had a lot of trouble with bullies, growing up.
On the other hand, people like me went out of our way to befriend the biggest bully, so that the others would just leave us alone.
That's why I stick with Donald Trump...nobody wants to mess with the big dog!

The left elite are going down and it is like watching roaches flea from a can of raid.
Today the big shot from CBS Moonves goes down
I can hear his chorus with Eric Schneiderman and
Harvey Weinstein singing #me too. Stay tuned for the canary Mack singing about NXVUM .
Stock up on popcorn.

Mueller and his cohorts are working feversihly to keep that from happening. Keep in mind Mueller's part in the Uranium1 deal, etc. How all the players were enriched via deals while in government "service".
If, and when, that all pops to the surface there will be hell to pay. And they are attempting to avoid that happening.
Swamp creatures would like to avoid the light of day of that info.
Unvarnished truth, CG. Both major parties are guilty of buying votes and growing government against their oath to the Constitution. A friend told me his research showed that government spending led directly to the 2000 recession when the growth of spending slowed. I don't think it's nearly that simple, but I agree with you that government spending is far too high for the health of America's liberty.
KAG!
That's why the left is digging deep to resurrect their barely breathing(referring to political power) brethren(0zero and any other socialist around).
CG sounds really angry and I can't figure out why, other than extreme disappointment with the '16 election.
Oh well.
That describes every congressman in both major parties and 98% of the other looters in the Dark Center.
"As I told a O supporter" - you're telling another O supporter when you respond to CG, AJA. Don't expect them to take the red pill though; they are colorblinded by the potential accusations of racism from their comrades.
If the deficit falls lower than it was when in 2016, you'll be proven right.
I think you are wrong on both counts. What he's done is cut back regulations, culled the government payroll, renegotiated NAFTA with the Mexicans and is i the process of doing the same with Canada. He has successfully threatened tariffs increases to this nations who raped us with tariffs on our goods and has revived part of the Steel and coal industry in the process.
End result, he doesn't need to raise taxes or curtail spending AS LONG AS THE ECONOMY FLOURISHES AND THE GDP CONTINUES TO INCREASE. Government will take in more taxes as a consequence of more robust business and spend less as result of internal cuts.
I can't for a second fathom how you think he hasn't or wont do anything.
As I told a O supporter, all he's really done is use the existing system and remove the choke hold O placed on it to show Americans that Capitalism is alive and well and works.
An attention seeking narcissist, yes but that's nothing new about Donald Trump. A clown, no.
"All that matters is spending. One way or the other you pay for it." Also true, but I see Trump's plan is to get government out of the way so America's capitalist base can get on with the business of generating more wealth. Firing up the private sector "should" begin reducing the number of recipients of the welfare state and generate more revenue. This should reduce the matter of spending and increase the ability to pay debts at the same time. Stemming massive illegal immigration also has the effect of reducing the number of recipients of the great welfare state and the other expenses it causes. Addressing artificial and unfair trade issues should reduce the one way flow of wealth from the US to the rest of the world.
The issue is partisan only with respect the Dems are virtually fully collectivists and the Reps can still field a capitalist leaning candidate like Trump and actually win an election. The parties are almost the same, but not quite identical in their slide leftward. The election of Trump may be causing a wakening and rebuilding of the Rep party. The Dems are demonstrating they have gone far left and won't be back.
What would you have him do?
This made me laugh aloud. President Trump seems to forget his key positions on any issue, just saying whatever random thought comes to his mind and gets him attention at the moment, forgetting if he said the exact opposite a month earlier.
All arguments that Trump actually wants smaller and less intrusive gov't but consistently says and does the opposite seem absurd. It's a just-so argument, post-hoc rationalization. No matter what happens, it's all part of a Seldon plan whose goal may be completely contrary to everything happening now. The simple and obvious explanation, e.g. simple pandering, is almost always correct.
I meant by borrowing heavily, leading to an eventual crisis, leading to higher tax rates. I seem to remember people on this board saying $400 billion per year structural deficit in 2016 was unsustainable. They were right. So is a $1 trillion deficit in 2019.
All that matters is spending. One way or the other you pay for it.
Your view of this being a partisan issue doesn't seem even remotely true to me. It's just short-term thinking and people being used to government spending being a huge fraction of the economy and being used to looking to the gov't for solutions to citizens' individual problems.
I noticed McCain among the H Clinton party, cheering her on.
Yes...even paying for a "dirt" report on Trump.
I do see a very large number of videos andTweets with Q references such as #Qanon # WWG1WGA
