“Pocahontas” and her alleged Native American heritage, (a worthless DNA test)

"But as it turned out, the Globe issued a correction updating the results to show Warren’s Native American ancestry is actually 1/1024."

No reliable Cherokee DNA markers: here is why: https://www.accessgenealogy.com/nativ...

It's a lengthy read. Basically, there is way too much mixing of DNA, nothing specifically Cherokee, in fact, they share more with the Jews but DNA tests, for the many tribes in North America have strong similarities with tribes in Mexico, Central America and South America; so Pocahontas is probably no more indian than you or I. The Cherokee were "Slave Raiders" and plundered many tribes and are probably more mixed than other North America Tribes.

    Laughing...she is!
Don't know about the other tribes by the Cherokee are described as Raiders,Slave holders, killed the men and enslaved the women and children...they interbred and that is one of the reasons why it's hard to pin down a unique DNA among them.

I have 252 SNP's that are Neanderthal (I'm a bit less than average), Warren has 5 SNP's that are (sort of Indian), that makes me 50 times more Neanderthal than she is Indian.

The whole study is bogus, the guy producing the paper has some very small subsets of gross population groups.

Who cares even. The iindian culture today is not very good in terms of advancement, so I am not so sure I would talk about how much indian blood I had in me.

Dont worry. She will never even make it past a primary. She might not even make it to stay as Senator (I hope). She is an evil witch with evil in her heart, and its obvious after taking ONE look at her. The voters arent so stupid as to vote for her as president.

    I came across this reference:

In 1984, she contributed five recipes to a Native American cookbook entitled “Pow Wow Chow: A Collection of Recipes From Families of the Five Civilized Tribes: Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole.”

I find it strange to name the five tribes as "civilized". What does that mean? That the rest of Indian tribes were uncivilized? Coming from Warren, isn't that racist?

Interesting point: Neanderthal existed after the flood. In archeological digs in Israel they found Neanderthal remains buried with humans.

I have always asserted that Man/Humans were a totally different species on our own and did not evolve from any other upright walking creature.

When my wife and I had DNA tests, we were surprised with one result, that we were 2.3 and 2.7% Neanderthal (a Caucasian real and Ted Kennedy imagined trait). So my guess is Liz Warren is more Neanderthal than American Indian.
In an opinion piece this morning, the theory on Warren's disclosure was it puts the whole matter behind her so that in 2020 she can respond to critics that it is "old news."

There really is no way to ascertain your lineage without doing some genealogy work. It is usually accepted that if you have a full-blooded American Indian relative in the not to distant past, such as a great great grandparent, then you can prove you are part Indian. In most cases you need to be at least 1/16 by lineage.

This was a "Worthless test" on a "Useless Individual" so the results have to be considered "Worthless"!

Also typical that Woo-Woo-Woo Warren would go off on one of her woo-woo-woo tangents yet again.
A deceased movie star named Curly Howard did his woo-woo-woos much better.
If he ever listened to that Woo-Woo-Woo Blondie make her minority claims, Bbet he'd walk off laughing, "Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!"

Imagine during a job interview someone claimed that they were an A student, because one time in one class they got an “A.”

Not presidential material, unless they can fool a vast majority of the population to believe them. Then it’s a top rate Democratic candidate.

There is No Cherokee in her, however there might be some South American, central American or Mexican indian dna...10 generations back.

The average european American has .18 indian in their dna...she has even Less than that.

Their is no specific Cherokee DNA available...present day tribes are way too mixed...seems they raided, killed, enslaved and raped all the other tribes.

I did the national geographic genographic project a few years ago and found on my paternal side a 2% genetic marker most associated with Australian aborigines and every time look in mirror I really do not see it . LOL

This whole story has spun off into Insanity Land. Who in the hell would do this?...point to a test with such a low level of Cherokee-type genetics and then call the President racist for every doubting her claims that she's Cherokee? What in the hell is wrong with this woman? She's clearly deranged, or has the mental capacity of a 4-year old. I heard a commentator going over this story while driving home from work yesterday and I started laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. This, my Objectivist friends, passes for normal, sound reasoning and behavior in America today. People are even piling on her bandwagon, trying to say this is an example of Trump's derangement, not hers.

    It's over folks.

Well, if you consider all the wacky things that have been called gods, (goats, trees, earth, sun, moon, snakes), all having nothing to do with causation of existence...I am sure some pagan bicameral, somewhere, thinks they are...
