The voting is in on The Great American Read, and Atlas Shrugged did very well. The novel came in at number twenty. Thanks to all who voted.

    Yes, it was an impressive finish, and overall I was pleased. No, I have not seen the 1001-list books to read before you die. Of course A.S. should have been included on this list.

    And because of people like you Suzanne43, other members here, others who just love Atlas Shrugged, and me, it moved up 23 places in the last few days of voting to number 20.

    Yes, I would have liked to see it being number 1 (it is to me), but still an impressive finish.

    I know I voted nearly every day through my email address.

    Have you ever seen the 1001-list of books you must read before you die? I have always been disappointed that not one of Rand's novels were included so I am thrilled with the results.
