Straw bans now become weapon bans

The ridiculous part about this is the link at the bottom to a woman who died from falling on a metal straw. Just goes to show that they should ban metal straws as well as any quick-draw or quick-use attachment to go with the straw. In fact, they should put safety caps on the straws as well as limiters so that they can only be used with a certain vacuum force differential...

Just ridiculousness!

And what about they way environmentalists have complained (or didn't they?) about the used of paper products?

    Even better...

We hear there is a pile of plastic, the size of TEXAS floating in the ocean...

    The size of TEXAS!

Can someone find it for me on Google Earth, Please?

Now, I am not saying litter is good.

But I'd rather have Trump Straws!

You reminded me of a map I saw someplace showing the 10 rivers that contribute the most plastic crap and other pollutants to the worlds oceans. None were in the US or Europe. All were Asian or African.

I had a discussion with a family member that was trying to make me "aware" of the the trash in the ocean as shown on those TV commercials and Americans have to take the responsibility of trashing the planet. I asked her if she was aware none of those beaches or ocean areas shown on the commercial were in the US, but were in Asia? Blank out.

I use stainless steel straws now.
    With silicone tips.

But I felt the argument was crap. 7 of the 10 biggest places pushing the plastics into the ocean are in AFRICA!

But once again, we have to pay the price for it!

And paper straws BLOW (because they don't suck well, LOL)

This is starting to remind me of a Monty Python skit. All we need is a giant scale and a duck.

Don't worry, Dino. An average plastic straw, in spite of all the left wing eco-nut howling to the contrary, has no more effect on the environment than an average rock.

This is the last straw! Speaking of my last straw (believe that was from Church's Chicken), it went to a landfill with the rest of my garbage,
And the straw before that and the straw before that and the--whoa! I'm 72. Don't have time to count all those last straws.
