Even though it was hard to make fun of all the goings on this week, I think I managed a few bright spots.

We are hoping it ALL comes out during an Emergency Broadcast or "Giant Voice" notification announcement that would take over the air waves...if not, then that too was nothing more than a wet dream.

Yes, after I first published, I went looking because that is exactly the way I felt too...pleasantly surprised when I found that one.

Love that link, LOL! Yeah, that hydrogen oxide is pretty potent stuff!

Hey, are you sure Hitler liked chocolate ice cream? (I'm laughing here, who cares)

I was interested in the one about Plousy's laptop. There is a "theory" that the laptop was targeted. Is there any info about that? There was a video that showed a "masked" person with a bulge under his coat that inferred it was the laptop.
Also speaking of laptops....where is Hunter's? Has Trump gotten any info from that he can use as leverage later. Maybe release embarrassing info later?

The one about GE now makes sense, since Simon Parkes lost all his credibility Jan9 when he said on a YT video it was Westinghouse, who stopped making engines in 1960.

Thanks but I have recently seen how words can wound a person. Happened to a friend of mine. She was viciously attacked by a 30 year 'friend' when my friend said, "Biden isn't my President."

They can but you can't...they have the privilege...yet they need not apologize.

They get hate, therefore hate speech, wrong. Hate is not verbal, it's physical...like a kick in the head. For an action or any behavior to be hate, it must be expressed with physical animosity or at least the threat of physical hostility.

At least that is the definition I grew up with...just try finding that today!

Someone explain this name calling to me. If I say someone is a facist, KKK mbr, or racist....that's hate speech. But a news channel person can say it and no one blinks?

When the debate is lost . . .
This reminds me of something that I just heard on the radio -- Don Lemon of CNN has been heard stating that...
"The KKK supports Donald Trump. The White Aryan Nation supports Donald Trump. How can anyone support a man who is supported by racists and white supremacists...?"

Good grief. This reminds me. Don Lemon is dumb.
Any home-schooled 10 year old will tell you that Mister Lemon is employing the Association Fallacy. Example -- Hitler liked chocolate ice cream ... how, on Earth, can anyone choose to eat chocolate ice cream when Hitler enjoyed it...?

I often pause when someone is arguing with me and they employ a very silly logical fallacy. My opponent must be gleefully rejoicing in their victory in context of my being speechless. Nope. I am just a bit flabbergasted that a supposedly grown up person would make such a silly childish mistake.

Here is one of my favorite examples of Fallacy of Association:

The backstabbing line made me think of Julius Caesar - although Trump was not setting himself up to be emperor. History repeats in many ways. The saddest part is they stabbed all of us in the back, not just Trump.

Thanks for pointing out the eye of Sauron. I saw the flames beyond the sign and figured "uh huh". After your post I zoomed in on the meme and - holy smokes - this is even better!

Nice set of memes this week, OUC. The messaging is more important than trying to be funny - even dark humor. Sad, really, but there is some humor in it such as "Anybody seen my laptop?" and Trump hides nuclear codes.

A lot of truth conveyed in cartoon form such as the sharks in the bloody water around the Statue of Liberty and "IMPEACH"!

    What Ayn said.
    What Einstien said.
    Yes, you called it, Orwell.
That back-stabber line. Turtle, Mittens and Robets I could anticipate. Who's the 4th dude?
Dat last meme. Dat me. Sigh!
