    It starts small. Currently, I do what is asked of me at work. Nothing more. I do not contribute ideas anymore. I do not work overtime anymore. If I do not get raises...oh well....less taxes for the government to take. I will retire earlier than planned. Depriving society of a skill set that was already in short supply. I will not teach any new apprentice. My knowledge from the last 30 years dies with me. They get to make all the same mistakes over again.
    I do not buy things that do not have a “SHTF” purpose. Example: Was gonna buy a boat last spring. Thought about it....I don’t need a boat. So, I dumped the money on debt. Guaranteed rate of return there. Less interest paid to the banksters.
    Live as a minimalist. There are lots of websites on this. The machine sees you as a revenue generator. Don’t participate as much as you could. Figure out how to be content with less stuff. Barter whenever possible. Go to farmers markets. Anything that screws the corporate community is where you start.
    The Roman Empire didn’t fail because of the Barbarians. It fell because the good people who made it work quit propping up a corrupt Imperium that didn’t serve their interests anymore.
    None of us are John Galt. But, together we are John Galt. The only collectivism that makes sense.

    What I was trying to say, is that the looters are now fully in charge. If we gulchers just go along to get along then we deserve what we get. The time to exercise the oath has passed, we must remove ourselves from thier grip, if only in our minds.6

    Does going Galt mean living a very simple life and not making much money because if you make money it feeds the system?

      In my case, Going Galt meant I made more per hour, and worked fewer hours, from home, but in an organization which appreciated my talents (and treated me accordingly). The company I left, showed me repeatedly that they did not value my contribution.

      Every situation is different. You have to evaluate your values in terms of time AND money. I opted for more time.

    i do not offer ideas, comments

    they demand i take this fraud vaccine
    will try either medical or religious exemption

    but i am done with this place of work

    i am going Galt on a personal level
