A ton of money supporting Liz Chaney in Wyo doesn't mean she'll win the Wyo primary as it's mostly coming from the California Teachers' Union and other outside sources.
Wyo isn't CA. The Axios article I linked pretty much makes this point. It's not the over-all how much but rather the over-all where.
Yahoo News (one of the most despicable left-wing news outlets in existence) is simply trying to build up and preserve the rapidly vanishing hope/maintain the courage of leftists--mostly their own. I think it's called "whistling past the graveyard." The graveyard, for Dems, was the VA governor's race.
