Excerpt:
"aco Bell is the latest company to embrace woke activism by rolling out "Taco Bell Drag Brunch" at select Taco Bell Cantinas across the US.

"Each show will be hosted by the fabulous drag performer and taco extraordinaire, Kay Sedia, and feature performances from local queens and kings that will transform any morning from Mild to Fire!" according to a recent press release from the largest fast-food Tex-Mex restaurant chain.

"As a brand that brings people together, the Taco Bell Drag Brunch experience is rooted in celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and creating safe and welcoming spaces for all," the press release continued. "

===============================

I won't be going to any Taco Bell, but I never have.

I gave up Taco Bell years ago, but I would stop in just to support and celebrate LGTQ+ rights, if I were riding by an event.

I really belong at a Freedom Inc Madison fund raiser for "the olds", not at Taco Bell.

First, what does drag have to do with a Mexican restaurant? I know of some who like to go in drag, but none are Mexican. One is a white history teacher, another is our top military advisor, one used to reside in the WH. Seems Starbucks or some dance club would be more like it. Strange!

I agree. Get govt out iof things and let free market deal with interpersonal transactions.

Taco Smell -- Run for the Bathroom.

If I remember correctly, there was a court case a few years back where TB got sued for not having enough meat in their 'meat' to legally call it meat.
I think they settled out of court, of course without disclosing the results. I won't be back.

Objectivism in ALL things. One can make the argument that supporting this kind of nonsense is bad for society as a whole. And as long as we dwell in “society” we suffer the consequences of things that are bad for it. It was Galt’s objection to what he believed was bad for society that caused him to form a different society. In fact he began to actively pursue the destruction of the old society. You can be Objective and still have “moral” (not in the religious sense) opinions. And act on them. Otherwise Galt would have just been a Stoic. And done nothing but put up with it. Or, just suicide himself.
Transgenderism could be a denial of reality itself. Which would put it in direct opposition to objectivism.
Boycotting Taco Bell is just a micro example of attempting to take down a society that you disagree with. Like Galt did.

So right. I wonder if the Idiosyncrasy writers/producers/funders/directors/actors understood what the prophecy really was.

Taco Bell? Way back when they first started, I'd go there for the super burrito, or something like that, and like it.
Now, ya couldn't pay me to go to one. Sad but true they have gone way downhill over the years. And they are gonna go broke with this latest move. Guarantee.

So now the packaging and posters looks like the food.

I live in Arizona. Taco Bell is a joke.

Taco Bell used to be a good value for lunch once a week. I could eat well on a couple of burritos or chalupas for $6. Then the scamdemic hit, and their service in the drive-thru has gotten slow, their menu has changed to smaller items that are more expensive, and some items that are on the menu are often unavailable. I can't get a meal there for less than $10 after a 15 minute wait. I quit them and go to local Mexican restaurants that have better food for less.

They've lost their minds if they think people want to eat while a drag queen cavorts in front of them. They're alienating 97% of their paying customers to please 3% woke people who probably don't go to Taco Bell anyway.

You know, I've been trying to ask questions to the LBGTQIA community, but I can't get a straight answer. Some hump day humor.

Is there something about Objectivism which has so many dwelling on the beliefs of others rather than whether the product provided is good or and not that the person mirrors ones own beliefs?
I would have had to commit suicide seventy years ago because Ihardly agree with anyone. One need not control the market, just get government out of it and deal with whether you want the product and forget about the self or lack of self of the producer.

I used to like these also but lately there's a lot more crust than anything else. I think the second largest ingredient is the gravy.

The owner of the franchise would not tolerate this. They would welcome this observation so they can speak with the manager on duty and the shift employees. The franchisee is the one with big money in the game. They need to know if someone is damaging their reputation.

Amazing how a corporation will risk its franchisee's bottom line by buying into this? How can a franchisee protect itself?

I also choose the Marie Callender’s chicken pot pie when I don’t feel like making a dish. Mostly in the winter though.

I also love Mexican food . Taco Bell is the last place I would order Mexican food. When they first opened up it was a decient product , not anymore. IMO it is like much of the fast food industry. Inferior product at a high price , but you do get it Quickly.

Actually I USED to like TB but got turned off when I saw someone sweep the floor and immediately begin food prep without hand washing. It has been a couple of years since I have been there. However there is no reason to expect corporate common sense either.

I call it "toxic hell". Its cheaper than most of the fast food places and does have some unique items. Food is better at del taco actually, service is terrible at cafe rio and burger king, and food is unremarkable at mac donalds.

Never did like taco bell. I would rather go to a legit Mexican restaurant owned and operated by the same. Not so much a fast food fan anymore.
