So I wonder, is natural gas renewable too? Isn't Methane the result of decaying fossils...natural gas is not methane now is it.
Perhaps someday we will find out.

Not sure. Years ago I saw a proven reserves report on the Gulf of Mexico and they were greater than they were when they started pumping oil and they'd already pumped out the previous proven reserves. Of course there's the possibility that the proven reserves technology had improved over the ensuing years. 🤔
