    A tremendous example of 3d printing and Atlas Srugged. My company Signicast gave me a retirement gift. It was a 3d printed globe made of 12 printed wax pieces. These were then investment cast out of stainless and welded together to form a globe. Each half of the globe was a 3d relief of my old plants. The globe was held up by a Signicast logo. All 600+ employees of Signicast knew I was an Atlas Shrugged fan so this was meant to signify Signicast holding up the world. I would love to see a 3D dollar sign that could be worn around the neck on a nice gold chain. There are many ways the sign could be portrayed in both the sign itself and the background, but no bigger than a few inches. I'll put my order in today.

  Not yet. We're still working on the 3D printing of metals. My "John Galt" of a student thinks we're a couple of months away. I think it's more like 6 months. That would not be stainless yet either.
