sigh. it is a military exercise over several western states this summer. the scenario is that some states are hostile areas and the military is separating "domestic terrorist leaders" from their groups. Texas, Utah, and far southern California are considered to be "hostile" territories. I had military personnel blow a gasket ove my simple questions. they kept responding-it is "militarily defensible" eventually they imploded. I remained civil throughout. I quit the FB group so that I could give the "colonel" safe space to command.

Yes. I said as much today-this made these people come unglued. weird and scary. I'm a bit freaked out-I was counting on our military. I'm telling you- it's all :militarily defensible" like talking to robots. they cam unglued when I tried to tease that out. seriously- I left a FB group over it today-I'm evil. call me evil K lol

Navy Vet here. I know just enough about it to know that we really need to know a lot more. I don't get the necessity of doing it. There are bases that have courses set up to train in urban fighting. What is the necessity of taking over the streets of a city and just how will it effect the citizens?

I would just like all of our military members to weigh in on this. in all of your training, have you done urban scenarios against American citizens? It is happening this summer. How easy is that for you to do? I just want simple answers. when I asked some military members this morning (a colonel) he basically came unglued. unglued. I was never disrespectful. what is happening in our country? what's happening in the west this summer? ask questions. If you live in the west-ask more questions. I live in a 2nd world country. Americans travelling here for the first time are stunned and visibly shaken when they see federal military blocking roads. I am concerned you will get used to it

yes, I am aware of the source. No, I have not received any facts to counter the claims except-I'm "paranoid" "chicken little" I literally simply asked questions. I did not claim expertise. I lived for 18 years in a city of 6 military bases and 1 installation. I often awoke to artillary fire or bombing. that's right. I felt safe. I understand that military needs to train. they are practicing against YOU this summer. Coming to a western city near you soon
