Watch the video at the end of this article to hear Johnson's policies with emphasis on foreign policy. Johnson is the only candidate for president who understands and has a foreign policy based on underlying American values and guided by the US Constitution.

This speech reveals a real ethical leader, a statesman.

It looks like the only choice is between crazy and criminal. Trump seems to be a psychopath and Hillary a sociopath. The founders were right when they said "The republic might last 100 years". Well, we beat that by more than another 100 but we are getting close to moribund. When asked "What should be done about ignorance and apathy?" the average citizens response is "I don't know and I don't care". That may well be the epitaph for the country.

The system IS rigged, and it would turn on Johnson too. It needs to be unrigged and the selection process be turned into an analysis of the real qualifications of the person going forward- not what they did 11 years ago. Johnson would be killed off because of his pot smoking when the media got to him. His positions wouldnt matter at that point.

So is Johnson; but as far as the commie controlled "debates" go along with the campaign to destroy a for really real Republic, it's easier to throw mud at one candidate than two.

that would insure Hillary wins. No thanks on that one. Johnson would have NO chance in 2020 then, nor would any other 3rd party candidate

I would suggest that if Donnie Trump had any ethics and actually wanted to "Make America Great Again" he would throw his support to Gary Johnson, a candidate with answers instead of rhetoric.

Instead of running for president in this environment, I would suggest that Johnson would be better off spending the campaign money to "educate" through speeches and other educational venues without directly going after (and therefore threatening) the establishment so soon. Once he has traction, THEN politics would be more appropriate.

Johnson has less public appeal than Rand Paul, who had the same well articulated view of ill conceived foreign intervention. Our society is infatuated with celebrity, and until you find a magic potion to wake everybody up, sane governance doesn't stand a chance. I was a Rand Paul supporter until he withdrew, and I see much he and Johnson have in common, but this isn't the time. As Churchill said, "You can count on the Americans to always do the right thing, after they've tried everything else."

You got it !! The system NEEDS to be disrupted, and thats why there is so much vitriol against him from seemingly all sides. The GOP was dead in the water before Trump, and its pretty stupid for them to go after him so much. Whats left? Jeb Bush?

He has the right ideas. Picking a president currently is not done on this basis, however. Its some sort of popularity contest that picks the one who doesnt look "bad" in unimportant but PC ways.

They arent real debates, but just a means for the networks to make money with Pre- and Post- shows with lots of ads. Spring pre-planned stupid questions and "town halls" where the attendees and questions are "selected" is dumb.

If we can believe the sources, Johnson does seem to recognize--and would have us believe this--that to win any war, you must strike at the enemy's ability to make war. For IS, it comes down to funding, not an industrial base or even on troop strength as is the case with conventional armies.

EXACTLY !! Too bad the system is so corrupt and in bed with the media that he isnt getting any traction on this. We need to get rid of PC and the corruption so that a third party candidate has a shot in the future. We have 4 years to do it, but NOT if Hillary gets in this time. The system will be even MORE corrupt if that happens.

I would have hoped that, too, but seeing how the media "moderators" stomp all over Trump during the debate, I would expect them to do the same to Johnson. If I was in such a "debate" i would become angry (as might Johnson.)
The "debates" are even more obviously rigged than the process of selecting candidates.
A real debate would be devastating for Hillary and Trump. Neither one of them is capable of a "straight answer" that rationally presents solutions. They are addicted to lies and obfuscation.
With a fair moderator, Gary Johnson would destroy them with honest answers that connect with voters real concerns.

I think there would have been something relevant in them if Johnson had been allowed in.

I agree that would be helpful, but the "debates" are a media manipulated Hillary promotion vehicle. There is NOTHING relevant in them.
The debates are designed to hide Hillary's guilt as a traitor, to expose Trump's weaknesses, and to exclude any discussion of substantive issues.
As for the "participants", Trump is a dangerous insulting clown. Hillary is a ... I can't describe her accurately in polite company, but Hillary deserves public execution for her crimes.

Too bad he hasn't been included in any of the debates.

I so wish he had a chance to win. My only hope, is if the Donald gets in this time, he disrupts the system enough to set some 3rd party up to win next time. I'd vote for someone -all Iike Johnson in a heartbeat.

Anyone who has had doubts based on Gary Johnson's presentation skills must hear this speech.
No high tech teleprompter here, just a man explaining his bedrock committment to Americans.
The Q & A session is also istructive. Be sure to listen to Johnson's comments about other leaders at about 31 minutes in the video. Also comments on NSA domestic spying on Americans at 38:30. Free market health care comments at 54 minutes. Very revealing comments.
Gary Johnson is the candidate who deserves your vote.
