While we're very happy to have you in the Gulch and appreciate your wanting to fully engage, some things in the Gulch (e.g. voting, links in comments) are a privilege, not a right. To get you up to speed as quickly as possible, we've provided two options for earning these privileges.
Thanks for the invite...I'll think about it.
If your mom swears by them, I will probably start using mine!
We do have a complete set of very old Paul Revere copper cookware hanging for decoration, and never used. I am tempted to use them though, since there isn't anyone that I know that would appreciate them. My guess is that they would cook really nicely!
I actually use mine to deep fry.
Did I mention that I have a wonderful cast iron wok?
I'm the last to argue on behalf of the Catholic church, since I don't recall the last time I have been in one. It was probably when I was an altar boy, and going to a Catholic school....
The post we parted on was my recollection of the final chapters of Alive!, where the survivors reveal their struggles with their faith, and what they did. I was just pointing this out....

The jury box is supposed to be the place in which you vote your conscience.
The Senate is where you do what your employers [the people in your district, who sent you there] tell you to do.
Aren't you the beneficiary of my cast iron? ;-)
Hey! Are you talkin' to me?
From the article:
"It is not time, for either side, to ponder more ways to use the recall process to undermine our system of regular, democratic elections."
They managed to get this arse backwards....
