Interesting how the infrastructure that is so easily ignored can come back to bite. It is also something to ponder what if this happens on a large scale?
Exactly. That is why the Big Earthquake threat in the Northwest is really a problem, we will be isolated for months if not years. Most of the bridges will go "plop". And there is a butt ton of bridges in Or., none of which are maintained, too busy funding ...something...
There you go, when either a big earthquake or other disaster happen, I doubt you will get a helo to lift 400lbs of feed to your animals. I guess I have to look at my preps, I am very deficient in my emergency backups. I have 3 generators but gas is a problem, you can't hold it for very long. Have to see hoe I can keep feed long term.

Hillary 67%, Trump 26%. http://www.montereyherald.com/article... And yes, they are probably dying to secede! :-) However, I doubt that they would welcome a Galt's Gulch in their midst.

Just think of what it would be like if and probably when the power grids go down...nevermind all your electronics in cars, computers, banking etc.

Wonder who the residents voted for in the last election, and would they be inclined to secession?
Wonders abound in foreign countries. Tee-hee.
