If it were funded by those who wish to by a private charity I would completely agree with you. So long as it is done by force through the government its the problem.

It's not about Mexicans, it's about funding their financial short falls. In Connecticut that comes to 800.00 per year per tax payer.
If they come legally, become American, speak English and were self sufficient there would be no problem.

The idea is to fund the wall with those that "Wish" to and "Can" do so...instead of funding it by initiatory force.

Um...I think the wall is ridiculous. It solves nothing. The real problem is the lure of free stuff. A wall does not solve any of the problems. Just my two cents.

I personally don't care where the illegals come from. I just want them to pay the same taxes that I as a citizen have to pay. Illegals largely work in ways that are not taxed yet they receive the benefits those of us legals are paying for. I see it daily working in the school system. Illegal children sitting in my classroom seats taking resources paid for by you and me away from our children. I mention nothing about behavior or the extra resources required to deal with their different culture or language. We have to be prepared for that in case of Legal immigrants and I welcome those. I just don't like the freeloaders and I care nothing about where they came from or their skin color.

I would happily send in my contribution. Not because I believe that it would solve anything but because I believe that good fences make good neighbors. It would act as a minor security measure.

What we need to do that is FAR more important is to stop the flow of all the Governmental monies. Stop the redistribution of wealth from those that produce to those that do not. They see all those "free" (well free to the looters) benefits and they want to live a life of leisure at our (the producers) expense.

I mentioned a similar plan a while back. The wall is built in sections and each section costs $X dollars. Much the same as hospital wings and rooms the donors get to dedicate their section with a plaque or their business name on it. Lets say a section costs $100K. There are plenty of wealthy individuals and businesses willing to donate this amount and it could be tax deductible. The dems are attempting to portray a wall as some negative concept of the USA. Not so in the opinion of many millions of Americans who voted for DJT. I personally would support a massive march on DC with one sole purpose and slogan, NO WALL-NO WORK! Like the protests abroad but the only damage being done would be complete and absolute gridlock in our nations capital until our elected representatives hear us loud and clear and get off their asses. It is very apparent they have no intention of finding solutions and much prefer having issues to run on. All they do is blow smoke up our collective asses and it is high time they have an enema.

The wall is also needed in my opinion. The trafficking of children and Drugs is a real issue.
Trump pointed out that illegal crossings where the wall has been rebuilt declined 95% or more. I have a locks on my doors at home and I know that people could break a window to gain entry, but I still wouldn’t sleep well with out my wall (locks).
